AnyDesktops

Features

Remote access features, described without the fog

AnyDesktops covers the jobs remote desktop software is hired for: control a screen, reach a machine nobody is sitting at, and keep an audit trail. Windows and Linux are available now; this is the product we are building.

Remote desktop

A live view of the remote screen with keyboard and mouse control. Tuned for text, not only video. Multi-monitor support is planned for the first professional tier.

Unattended access

Enrol a host with a device secret so you can connect after hours. Separate from attended sessions, so a support call cannot silently become a permanent backdoor.

File transfer

Send files in either direction during a session. Can be disabled per group when a reception PC should not accept uploads.

Clipboard

Copy on one machine, paste on the other. Text first; richer clipboard types to follow.

Mobile

Connect from a phone or tablet when a laptop is not practical. Host-on-mobile is a later milestone.

Session recording

Optional recording for training and audit. Treat recordings as personal data; say so in your own policy.

Address book

Named devices, groups, and recent sessions. Search beats a chat log of IDs.

Permissions

The host decides what a visitor can do: view, control, files, clipboard. Defaults stay conservative.
