AnyDesktops

Security

Remote access is a privilege. Treat it like one.

This page states how we intend to build AnyDesktops. It is not a penetration-test report and we do not claim ISO or SOC badges we have not earned.

Encrypted sessions

Interactive sessions will run inside TLS (or an equivalent authenticated tunnel). We will not ship a mode that sends desktop pixels in the clear “for speed”.

Host consent

Attended access requires an explicit Accept on the host, with a visible indicator that a session is live. Closing the session on either side ends control.

Unattended enrolment

Unattended access is opt-in. It uses a device secret you set, not the same short ID you would read out on a phone call. You will be able to revoke it from the account that owns the device.

Two-factor on the console

Account login for the web console and address book will support two-factor authentication. That does not replace a strong device secret on the host.

Permissions

View, control, clipboard, and file transfer are separate switches. Defaults favour the smaller set of powers.

What we will not claim

No fake “military grade” copy. No implied certification. When we have a third-party review, we will publish the date and scope.
